Job Title: Tool Room Supervisor
Location: Hastings, NE
Pay: $21.50 $27.50/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview
We re seeking a hands-on Tool Room Supervisor to lead a small team while actively working on complex tooling and mold projects. This is a working leadership role where your technical expertise and ability to guide others will drive quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

What You ll Do

• 
  Lead and supervise a team of 3 5 tool room employees
  
• 
  Plan, layout, and perform bench and machine operations
  
• 
  Construct, repair, and modify tooling and injection mold dies
  
• 
  Fabricate and assemble tools, fixtures, gauges and molds
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  
• 
  Set up and operate equipment including mills, lathes, grinders and CNC machines
  
• 
  Utilize CAD/CAM programming for tooling processes
  
• 
  Perform precision bench work, assembly and welding as needed
  
• 
  Test completed tooling and make adjustments to meet specifications
  
• 
  Use precision measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances
  
• 
  Identify opportunities for process and tooling improvements
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, safe and collaborative work environment
  

What We re Looking For

• 
  High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree preferred)
  
• 
  3 5 years of tooling, mold or die experience
  
• 
  Strong leadership and team development skills
  
• 
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  
• 
  Solid math skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
  
• 
  Forklift certification preferred
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• 
  Frequent standing, lifting and handling materials (up to 50 lbs, occasionally 100 lbs)
  
• 
  PPE required (hearing, eye protection, steel-toe footwear)
  
• 
  Exposure to heat, noise and industrial environments
