Job Description
Our client is seeking Banquet Event Servers to support a variety of engaging and fast-paced events. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a social environment, and want a flexible schedule. The Event Server plays a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup & Support

  • Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, d cor, and place settings according to event specifications

  • Assist with event breakdown and post-event cleanup
Guest Service

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately

  • Monitor guest needs and respond quickly to requests
Teamwork & Cleanliness

  • Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event space

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and event coordinators

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

    • 7: 30 AM 3: 00 PM

    • 8: 00 AM 3: 30 PM

  • Temp-to-hire with potential advancement to Head Cook based on performance and attendance

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with preparation and cooking of meals and snacks according to the school menu

  • Portion and serve food to students and staff

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  • Store food and supplies properly to prevent waste

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergy regulations

  • Receive and store food deliveries

What We re Looking For:

  • Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety

  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
