Job Title: Soil Room / Laundry Assistant
Location: Columbus, NE
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Shift: Full-Time, 6: 00 AM 2: 00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Soil Room / Laundry Assistant to join our client's team in Columbus, NE. This is a full-time role with a consistent schedule and hands-on work in a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities:
Open the bottoms of soiled linen bags and feed items to the workstation.
Handle a variety of linens including tablecloths, napkins, aprons and grill pads.
Sort each piece manually on the workstation and feed piles into a vacuum collector.
Maintain workflow throughout the day, processing approximately 7, 500 pieces per day.
Stand and work on your feet most of the shift (except for breaks).
Requirements:
Ability to work standing for extended periods.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent pace.
Ability to lift items up to 1/2 pounds;no heavy lifting required.
Positive attitude and reliability.
