Position: Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Papillion, NE
Pay: Starting at $28/hour — based on experience and skill set (to be discussed in the interview)
Schedule Options:
- 1st Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 4:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 4:45 PM - 5:00 AM
What You’ll Do:
- Be a working lead — always on the floor, always ready to support your team
- Guide and mentor maintenance mechanics providing hands-on training and supervision
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, welding, plumbing and conveyor systems
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings for proactive and reactive repairs
- Oversee scheduling, performance, safety and development for your crew
- Ensure compliance with LOTO, Food Safety, GMPs and AIB/Internal Audits
- Partner with Operations and Sanitation for seamless production and product quality
- Drive root-cause analysis, line pre-checks and proactive maintenance solutions
- Create a positive, people-focused work environment with clear expectations
What You Bring:
- 1–2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or food production setting
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with welding, conveyor systems and food manufacturing equipment
- High school diploma or GED required; tech certification or apprenticeship preferred
- Strong communication, team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work physically demanding shifts and support your crew on the floor
